Kentucky: August 26th 2011 To memorialize the 16th anniversary of Heather D.Teague’s unfortunate disappearance, which took place on August 26th, 1995 a candlelight vigil will be held at Madisonville’s courthouse steps on Friday, August 26th and will begin at 7 p.m.

Pennsylvania: August 26th 2011 To memorialize the 25th anniversary of Michelle Jolene Lakey's unfortunate disappearance which took place on August 26th 1986 a walk will take place starting at the former Mercy Hospital in Scranton and follow the route Jolene took the day she disappeared, individuals interested in joining her family and friends for the walk should meet at the main enterence of the former Mercy Hospital at 7 p.m.

Connecticut: October 19th 2011 Beardsley Zoo- Training the Canine Hero- 7PM to 9PM Resources in Search and Rescue will share tips on how not to get lost in the woods, how to survive if you do get lost and how dogs are used to locate lost and missing people. A demonstration will follow the lecture. There is a $5 suggested donation. Refreshments will be served. This lecture, taking place in the Hanson Exploration Station, is part of the Evening Lecture Series, sponsored by Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo Volunteer Association.
